Cool post! Autumn is MY fave season too- I always feel most inspired at that time of the year! I love how all the colours change, and the air gets crisp and cool...sigh!

And I would have to toss up between red and black for the colour I'd wear for the rest of my days....I think I'd go with black in the end. More versatile, and more flattering :D
