Note to self: UPDATE YOUR FREAKING BLOG MORE OFTEN!!!

Hi.

It's new year's eve. Growing up, my mother and grandmother have always instilled this crazy belief in me that whatever actions you choose to do or not do on this day will go with you into the new year. For example: they always tell me to be sure to shower on December 31st unless I want to spend the greater part of the new year unkempt. And the other night I overheard my grandmother talking about how she needs to wash the dishes on December 31st so that they won't pile up and she won't have to spend all of the next year being too busy washing them.

Does that make sense to anyone?

Because it doesn't make an ounce of sense to me!!!!!!!!!

Hahahhaha. Yeah my family is silly.

But yeah, it still managed to make me come post a blog on December 31st because I want to spend the greater part of next year writing more blogs. So yay for that.

We'll see if it works!! Happy new year to all and to all a Goth night!

Haha...my family believes in those new years superstitions too. But instead of telling me to shower on the 31st, they actually tell me to not shower at all on Jan. 1st or I'll wash away all my good luck. You can't take out the trash on the 1st either because that also means throwing out good luck. Man, but couldn't it work both ways? Like washing off or throwing out the bad luck??

Happy New Year!

Yeah actually there's this other crazy superstition my mom always had of dumping a glass or bucket of water out the door on the stroke of midnight to "cast out bad luck" or something. And sweeping.

And something about eating 12 grapes.

Crazy people.
