oh my goth, oh my goth, oh my GOTH!!!!!!!

Gothic Beauty magazine has finally decided to put a male on the cover. What took so long, is what I wanna know... but I do know that it's hard to find a good GOTH male model these days.. especially since all the attention always goes to the females, most of whom happen to be porn stars in disguise. (Thanks for ruining it for the rest of us, ladies). But we won't get into that. I just hope GB puts more males on the cover way more often. There's a bunch of other male models out there, that have been featured inside of the magazine before, but I don't know many of them by name. Here's one that I think should grace a future cover of GB soon:

Paris Grim - he's the male face of Heavy Red clothing. I like his hair :)

The rest of the goth doods I admire all happen to be musicians. But hey, they can easily convert into models, too!! All musicians need a little extra income, no??

Meet Dennys Halo. I believe he used to be in the Canadian band, The Black Halos... but I could be mistaken. He's currently the VP of a successful concert promotion company in Vancouver. I think. Correct me if I'm wrong, Mr. Halo. I know for sure that he won a not so official online modeling contest once, though. Mhmm.

James D. Stark: The only way to describe him is as a "gothic crooner". He composes and sings dark romantic music and I happen to think he's easy on the eyes, so... I also love his style. It falls more towards the aristocrat Goth kinda look. Very romantic and elegant. Not at all rough and sloppy, like some goth doods tend to be.

The man. The master. Voltaire. No, not the old timey philosopher (or whatever). This guy is a God amongst Goths. He writes, plays music, and sings. And draws comics. And every time he opens his mouth to talk, you can bet it will be something wise... or funny as hell. He's multi talented and also easy on the eyes.

This is Dorian, of the band Jesus on Extasy. I like his makeup. It's different. He also tends to favor more stylish, fashionable clothing, so he'd make an excellent model.

If GB ever decides to feature Ville Valo of HIM, they should definetely include his buddy Sean Brennan of London After Midnight. I think they complement each other well.

Lastly, here's Andy of Combichrist: or the band better known as EVERYONE'S FAVOURITE. His style leans more toward the hard-edged, goth rocker, Industrial spokesmodel look. So it'd be a refreshing take on a GB cover. I met him at a show once. He seemed nice. He may look all angry and tough but he'll totally pose for a picture with you if you ask ;) Oh, and just so you know I wasn't that big of a Combichrist fan before I saw them in concert. But their live set blew me away and now I adore them. Mhmm.

And a final word: CONGRATULATIONS TO JOSIAH: THE VERY FIRST MALE MODEL TO EVER GRACE THE COVER OF ONE OF THE BEST MAGAZINES IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!
