Ok, so this issue has actually been on shelves for a good month, now. I bought it back in April, and I'm just now getting around to blogging about it.
Check it out, kids. Your favourite MCR singer is all grown up and looking hot as ever in this sexy pictorial shot by Nylon's own infamous Marvin Scott Jarrett. Major props go to stylist Marjan Malakpour, (who by the way, has actually worked with MCR before, styling the "Helena" music video, no less), for the awesome designer clothes Gerard was wearing: Ksubi jeans, Junya Watanabe, John Varvatos, a CLASSIC Burberry trenchcoat (!!!), as well as borrowed vintage pieces.Glad to see them finally out of hiding... I've never been more pleased with a My Chemical Romance magazine shoot than I am with this Nylon one.
My fave shot, (if I HAD to choose!), is the one of him in the black Gstar jacket and tie, with his ruffled up hair, paired with the ghostly face. It reminded me of Edward Scissorhands :)

I haven't bought a magazine for aaaaages! Mostly because nobody seems to sell my favourite anymore- either that or it's just not in print anymore? It was called Zink. I miss it.
This guy is probably a bit young looking for an old duck like me ;) but i can definitely appreciate the style! Give him another 15 years then send him my way, hehe :)
I actually really like the clothes he's wearing in pic 3 and 4 of that second lot.I dig a sexy jacket!
Asylum Dolly: OMG ZINK!!!! That has always been my top favourite fashion magazine, too!! It *is* a bit hard to find, but I thought it was still in print..? This lady who's blog I follow/who follows me works for them, I think. That magazine rules... I hope you find it again! If it HAS been discontinued, then that just tears it for me. That was the best magazine ever. Vogue and others simply don't compare. UGH. Ok. Rant over.
Also, hahahahaha! Exactly HOW old are you, Bon?? This guy just turned 33 and he has a one year old daughter. Doesn't sound much different than YOU at the moment. I know for a fact you are NOT old!!!!!!!! Silly goose. Old, to me, is like... 60. Hahaha. But yes, jackets are the greatest things ever. Too bad it's officially 100degree weather here in my town again. UGH.
EEEEE! Zink rocked my world! But absolutely NO newsagents seem to stock it anymore!!!! Not even the ones in the city that sell every magazine you can think of! It breaks my heart. I ask, but nobody seems to have heard of it! Oh man i used to buy it religiously! It is so devoid of crap, and just brimming with creativity and awesomeness. And really genuinely INTERESTING articles about really offbeat subjects. I'm super excited if it is still in print!!!! Totally going to search for it on the internets now.
Oh my god. He's 33?????? He looks about 16!!! he needs to tell me what his damn secret is!!! He is SLIGHTLY older than i...;) but he looks about 15 friggin years younger, the bitch! Gerard Way, give me your youthful looks already!!! Damn.
