So they may have gone through countless lineup and 'sound' changes over the years, and nowadays it's very rare to even see any kind of press being done on this band...

but nobody (except maybe a few haters) can deny the genius that Kittie was when it was first born: I mean come on. Angsty, uber young Canadian HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS having the balls to give tough-as-nails, hardcore, GROWN HEAVY METAL MEN a run for their money?? How is it that no one but them has ever even attempted something like this in the history of music??

With STYLE to beat, I might add. Kittie's fashion was... so "typical Movie-Goth".. but it WORKED. Fairly simple, somewhat kitschy, obviously thrift store finds... completely fitting.

"Brackish": Check out Morgan's (singer) metallic silver mini paired with a leopard print top. Check out Fallon's (guitar player) silver glitter guitar. Gaze in awe at Talena's (bass) blood-burgundy hair.





A few years, new bass player (sadly enough, Talena = my favorite), and a bit more money later: Morgan tries her hand at the "pretty goth girl" look (appropriate for the new singing/less screaming sound) and it worked.






Honestly... I mean HONESTLY. These chicks fucking kicked ass.
