It's almost June... that was fast!

I. Am. Craving. SHOES.  I really don't know why it hit me all of a sudden. I guess I just haven't gone shoe shopping in a long while! The newest Material Girl collection from Macy's has some really cute ones this time around. I want, want, want!!!

In other news...

Summer Goals Update
I posted a short list of "summer goals" in my last blog entry and thought of a couple more things I can add:  1) Cleaning/reorganizing/redecorating my bedroom (and *keeping* it neat!) will be an ongoing challenge this season. But it shouldn't be so bad now that I have a break from fashion school, because that means less clutter of piles of fabric and supplies and 'works in progress' so... **fingers crossed**, 2) During my last 'clean up', I found a new home for my Living Dead Doll and realized, suddenly, that I haven't made a new outfit for her since last year!!! Therefore, along with all the experimenting with jewelry-making, I'm adding "make more outfits for Tragedy", (that's her name), and today I had a renewed desire to make hairclips/bows like I used to, and I actually made a couple of really cute things. So that's on the list now as well :)  As for the other items, I've gotten a good start on reading. I checked out a bunch of stuff from the library last week.. mainly old works, but hey, Anne Rice = good reads any decade ;)

Life Update
One of my bestest friends from fashion school moved to another state last weekend, (I'm bummed!), so she had an amazing Alice in Wonderland-style Going Away Tea Party and we both dressed up as cute Lolitas, ate lots of sugary treats, played croquet and took lots of fun photos.

Here's one of my faves...

She made her ENTIRE outfit herself, green wig included!!  The only thing I made for my outfit is the mini top hat, but it's hard to see in this photo.  She's a super creative doll and you should check out her blog here: http://mycraftylifeasiseeit.blogspot.com

Oh and finally, here's something completely random.
Adam Glambert hosted one of his always fun "Twitter Parties" last week, (where you submit questions to him and hope and wait like crazy to see if he answers yours).  I got my question answered!  Exciting!!!
I asked "do you ever struggle with not believing in yourself?" and here's what he said:

It seemed to generate a simultaneous "AWWWW" from most of the Glamverse, haha.  Awesome.  And I'm actually really happy with his answer... It's something I really needed to hear, if that makes sense.

Until next time,

<3
