Jesus was a Zombie.

What is so "controversial" about a guy kissing another guy or dancing on him during a concert? I mean, honestly, I'm trying to figure out what the big deal is about Adam Lambert's recent performance that I keep hearing about.

"Antics" like this have been done before. It's nothing new or shocking. Obviously these Puritan-like people who can't stop talking about it because they're oh-so-in-disbelief have never seen My Chemical Romance in concert:

"The fallout from Adam Lambert's risque American Music Awards performance keeps coming with Good Morning America canceling the singer's live performance scheduled for Wednesday morning... Last night's broadcast was nothing short of tasteless and vulgar. Adam Lambert, the second place finisher in last season's American Idol competition, chose to treat American families to... demeaning behavior." - The Parent's Television Council

Ummm... seriously, people?

The bulk of MCR's fanbase are made up of young kids, whose parents often attend their shows with them. I've never once heard a parent complain about them.

It's called PUTTING ON A SHOW!!!
Performers who are passionate about what they do are allowed to get 'caught up in the moment' and do whatever they want. The stage is their canvas. They're ARTISTS. Art allows for the ultimate freedom of expression, and if you try to censor or stifle it then it loses it's entire purpose and meaning.

Parents should be more concerned about their brats being brainwashed by fabricated Disney robots who spout out whatever a giant corporation tells them to say and act like, and still try to come off as 'wholesome' and 'happy'.

What I'm smelling here is a case of antiquated whiners with way too much time on their hands who need to grow the fuck UP. The only "controversial" thing here is the fact that Good Morning America would stoop so low as to actually CANCEL their own guest over nothing.

Was he HURTING anyone? No. What was he really trying to say? Probably nothing except "I love performing and I live life to the fullest".

Anyone out there who's a true Lambert follower and is (rightfully) pissed about not being able to see him on Good Morning America tomorrow morning, tune in to The Early Show on CBS. He'll be on there, instead.

I am terrified. (I think too much).

Dear Lazy Sunday, it's been a while...

I want to know when keeping in touch became such a chore. Remember when people used to call each other, "just because"? I think I miss snail mail the most, though. When I was younger I had various pen pals from all over the country. There was nothing more fun than buying cute stationary and gel pens to draw cute pictures with. And the checking of your mailbox each day, just waiting to see if there's a new envelope decorated with cute stickers addressed to you and you alone. But for some reason our correspondence never lasted. I imagine that maybe a letter or two got lost in the mail... but maybe the lack of replying was a forewarning to how things would be in the future.

Nobody tells stories anymore. And those that do don't get heard anymore. Because nobody cares. The internet has become our imaginary best friend, that we can talk endlessly to whenever we want. Saying and showing whatever we want. It's funny because when you really think about it, the only one you're "talking" to is yourself. And you tell yourself what you want to hear.

Putting real people aside gets kind of old after a while.

We are modern kids living through a screen... the computer erased our hearts.

I'm never getting those $20 back. I don't know why I ever spent them in the first place.

REAL couturiers don't use the word "couture" in their company names.

I'm looking at you, Juicy.

I mean honestly.

Trying to put out terrycloth/cotton/polyester bullcrap at jacked up prices and calling it 'high fashion' should be illegal. Those clothes should be sold at wal mart.

I love those perfume ads with the pastel coloured doggies and the girls wearing giant bows as much as the next girly girl, but when it comes to your clothes?? I mean... GAH.

Americans are ignorant enough as it is. Especially when it comes to fashion. And throwing the word 'couture' at the unknowing masses so loosely is the equivalent of spitting on the meaning behind the word itself. A true couturier like Christian Lacroix should be the one spitting on YOU, JUICY!

Other offender: New York Couture... I forgive this company because it's such a young/unknown label. And I do actually admire their style. I own a couple of pieces myself. But still. They should really think about renaming the company... because quality wise, they're just as bad if not worse than Juicy.

I'm just saying.

p.s. I can't believe Juicy is still making tracksuits. STILL.

TRACKSUITS. NONE OF THEM UNDER $50. This makes me want to cry.

IN WHAT UNIVERSE IS THIS CONSIDERED A GOOD LOOK?!?!?!?!
